Water shortages in Mariakani due to mismanagement
This a very serious concerns about ongoing water shortages in mariakani. Residents have been experiencing inconsistent or no water supply despite regular billing.
There are growing concerns that this issue is linked to mismanagement and possible corruption within the county goverment and local leadership and water authorities
Water is supplied irregularly, often only less than a week in a whole month.This situation has significantly affected daily life, sanitation, and health in our community.plz to whom it may concern do something about this issue ryt now thea is a story of the water management havent paid kplc bill thats why they cant supply water due to power shortage and we all pay monthly bills this totally corrupt

To address the ongoing water shortage in Mariakani, I recently visited the Mwavumbo Water Pumping Station to assess its efficiency and identify the challenges contributing to the inadequate water supply for the community.
We are moving forward with plans to upgrade the main pipes from 8 inches to a range of 10 – 12 inches. In addition, we will increase the water pumping capacity from 250 cubic meters to 1,000 cubic meters. Furthermore, as directed by the President during his recent visit to Kilifi, the installation of a new transformer will be completed within the next week, significantly boosting our water pumping capacity.
Our administration remains committed to its transformative agenda, ensuring that every resident of Kilifi County has access to safe and clean water.
